How AI Is Helping Me and Supporting Neurodivergent people

ree

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has seriously changed the game for me. As someone who’s neurodivergent, I’ve found that AI can actually help me turn my differences into strengths. It’s been a huge part of making life feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more productive. And the best part? I think it can do the same for other neurodivergent kids and entrepreneurs.

How AI Supports My Neurodivergent Journey

For me, AI is like having a personal assistant who understands the way my brain works. Here’s how it’s made a difference in my life:

Making Communication Easier:

When it comes to organizing my thoughts and getting my ideas across clearly, AI tools have been a lifesaver. Whether I’m writing a blog, an email, or just organizing my thoughts for school, AI helps me break down what I’m trying to say and put it into words that make sense.

Staying on Track with Tasks:

Having a lot on my plate can be overwhelming, but AI tools that help me create schedules, set reminders, and structure my day make everything feel more manageable. It’s like having someone there to guide me when things start to feel chaotic.

Emotional Support:

Some days are tougher than others, and AI apps that offer calming exercises or positive affirmations have made a real difference for me. It’s reassuring to know there’s something to help me reset when things feel too much.

Learning Made Simpler:

Trying to absorb complicated information can feel like a mountain to climb. But AI tools that break things down into simpler explanations make learning feel way more accessible.

Fueling My Creativity:

AI is great for brainstorming and helping me think through ideas from different angles. It’s almost like having a creative partner who never gets tired of coming up with new possibilities.

Why AI Matters for Neurodivergent People

AI is proving to be a powerful tool for people like me who think and process the world differently. It helps me make sense of things that once felt overwhelming and allows me to use my strengths in ways that are actually productive.

Research even backs this up. According to the Harvard Business Review, AI tools are helping neurodivergent individuals enhance their strengths, boost productivity, and break through workplace barriers (Austin & Pisano, 2017). Plus, chatbots and writing tools are making communication easier and providing emotional support when it’s needed most (Neurobox, 2023; Autism Spectrum News, 2023).

I’m excited to see where this goes. As AI continues to grow, so will the possibilities for neurodivergent people to thrive in ways that weren’t possible before.

Have you tried using AI to help you with school, work, or creativity? I’d love to hear about your experience!
